Friday post-Buy local

Another Friday. Another amazing venture!

I have always been uncomfortable with the idea to shop online for shoes for a couple of reasons:

1- Will the shoe fit?

I have had this problem with shoes and i am sure many people can relate. My shoe size  differ with the types there are. Most of the time it's the designing of the footwear that makes the difference.  So for me wearing and trying the shoe is essential before i make a purchase.

2- The comfort of soul.

This is so important for anybody and everybody.Buying a shoe online means the comfort can never be judged until the time it arrives.

3-The shoe might be a total disappointment when it arrives!

Sometimes you can totally be fooled online. Thanks to editing techniques where a trash-looking product can look so pleasing to eyes. Also, many times what might look good on others, might not suit you. So without trying, its difficult to ascertain that.

4- Trust issues with local foot wears!

True story because I've had bad experiences. Every time I've bought from the local vendors, the shoes have always managed to  hurt my feet.
So my trust with the Pakistani shoemakers was on the verge of dying until...

MIAASA was discovered!

Hot and mad comfy footwear. Exactly what I've yearned for all along! MIAASA delivers what they say. The shoes not only look pretty in the pictures, they pretty much manage to gain attention in real too. So basically all the rants mentioned above were ultimately shut down with my experience with MIAASA. Thanks to Lord!

Here's a sneak peek to what the brand offers!

Since it's Summers all year round in Pakistan, the amount of sandals one owns is never enough. For me it's so important that the sandals that i buy live long as i tend to wear them on daily basis. MIAASA's sandals definitely have that!

Also, i haven't come across  better looking sandals than these before. Have you?!

Reyna is too classy to be ignored

Just the right sandal to have because it will go well with any dress any time of the day!

I am a huge fan of wedges! Their wedges in particular. See it for yourself. I am sure you will second me!
I love gold! This one is definitely on my mind

Day or night, this will work for you any time of the day.

Make a statement with Rosey!

Saved the best for the last! MIAASA's sliders definitely top the charts for me.

Betty bow is SO PRETTY!

Perfect! The word will go well with it
That tassel though!
Good News! MIAASA is offering up to 40% discount on selected items! Go to their website here MIAASA and shop away.

Also look for them on Instagram here MIAASA

Until next time!

To begin with... The finest coffee, they say comes from Ethiopia but I make sure that it is brewed in my kitchen. I like my morning...

Excerpts from the daily diary

To begin with...

The finest coffee, they say comes from Ethiopia but I make sure that it is brewed in my kitchen. I like my morning coffees divine and no less. A “ divine” coffee is not so bitter and rightly acidic. It  delivers a long-enduring aftertaste of the coffee beans  and the slow release of aromatic compounds that continue for up to next 20 minutes. Also, it should be warm enough to activate my senses for the day that lies ahead.

While forcefully feeding myself on boiled eggs, I scroll down my Instagram account in the quest of catching up with the updates.  However to my disappointment not much has been updated the whole time the country was seemingly asleep. This early morning let down to my mood has not however stopped me from wasting a few more minutes of my life and I continue to stare at my phone screen with my fingers assisting the stalking activity.

The January cold  has failed to force the offices to shut down. I know it is a very extreme measure that I am suggesting but right now my brain is in my knees who are currently on  bad terms with the Lahore winters.  For a 26 year old to complain about knee pain is often redirected to the lack of exercise. On the contrary it could be because they need to be kept warm for as long as they want under a warm, cozy blanket. Doesn’t the world see that?!

As soon as I shut the car door, my driver feels his duty to turn on the radio which airs the most uncomfortable Lollywood songs at this time of the day. My only escape is to adjust my ear pods and turn on my own music junk.

To my left and to my right, all I see are zombie sleep-deprived faces on the road heading to earn some  bugs only to ruin their sleep  again the next day.

Before I could finish choreographing a dance routine on Sean Paul’s new release in my head, a familiar office building already awaited to welcome me inside.  The building in which I will be wasting my next 8 hours and help the company to grow at the expense of my own afternoon nap.

Friday post- Buy local!

Jumma Mubarak, you guys. Those of you who followed my Instagram story know what this is about. Well basically it all began when i started working. Online shopping is the best thing you can do to yourself when time limitation is a concern. With time i discovered so much local talent through social media and various exhibitions that sell not only affordable but also unique stuff.

So i made a deal that every Friday i will post about one or maybe two interesting ventures that i personally have had an experience with or know people who have. Also, i assure you that there is no compromise on the quality of the products that i share. Trust me on this.

Here's the first favorite!

In all honesty i was immediately sold by the name only. So Pakistani, isn't it?!

It all began when i bumped into this small stall at the Daachi Arts and Crafts exhibition. I am so glad that i did actually because it had exactly what i wanted from life for so long. Funky, well fitted (just about the right  size), affordable and very light-weighted jackets. All the essential elements! And yes they were GORGEOUS!

Perfect for a night out!

I love how it is full of character!
Simple yet elegant. I can see myself wearing it to work!

This one is just right if you are a student!

You can wear it with denim  like in the pictures and also wear where it with a plain kurta and shalwar! I think it will look amazing both ways.

Also, Baji kay bastay sells bastay. Duh!
So for me its more important how a bag feels like than what it looks like because if the leather or the material fails to  impress me, there's no point buying the bag irrespective of how good it looks!

The quality here my friends is definitely one of the best i have seen and the designing is so traditional and different! Look for yourself!

I definitely want to own one of them!

I think they will make an amazing gift any day!
These too!
The prices of  all  the items are pretty reasonable, definitely not heavy on the pockets. The lady who owns it  is so sweet and genuine that you will see that reflecting on every product. Each item is unique and very meticulously crafted!

I hope that convinced you to check out their Facebook page Baji kay Bastay
Find them on Instagram as bajikaybastay
Also, they are available now at PFDC Lahore.
